Penyajian data fundamental sangat penting bagi keuangan perusahaan. Secara umum kita pun perlu mempelajari yang berhubungan dengan parameter dan rasio.
Data fundamental meliputi Return On Equity (ROE), Return On Asset (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Price to Book Value (PBV), dan lainnya. Kita dapat mempelajari secara langsung untuk menganalisis contoh emiten dari segi fundamental. Semuanya dapat kita lihat dari website sekuritas, aplikasi RTI Business, dan penyedia informasi lainnya. Meskipun informasi tersebut terkadang berbeda satu dengan yang lain.
Memang ratio emitennya sama, tetapi perbedaannya hanya dalam penyedia informasi. Sebenarnya tidak ada data yang salah oleh penyedia informasi, apabila kita lebih teliti dalam menemukan beberapa data dengan kode TTM, YTD, dan Annualized. Jadi, untuk mencegah terjadinya kekeliruan dalam penyajian data, kita perlu memahami 3 istilah penting dalam penyajian data berserta contoh kasusnya, sebagai berikut:
Data Fundamental: Trailing Twelve Months (TTM)
Trailing Twelve Months (TTM) merupakan gambaran kinerja perusahaan selama 12 bulan terakhir untuk melaporkan angka keuangan tanpa adanya batasan tahun. Dalam bagian TTM, data revenue ASII Q4, Q3, Q2, dan Q1 tahun 2021. Berbeda kasusnya jika belum tersedia data Q4 tahun 2004, maka TTM akan tetap terhitung berdasarkan 12 tahun terakhir yakni dari Q3, Q2, Q1 tahun 2021 dan Q4 tahun 2020.
Year To Date (YTD)
Data Year To Date (YTD) merupakan gambaran sejak tanggal 1 Januari tahun berjalan sampai hari ini. Misalnya, saat membaca artikel media keuangan seringkali IHSG masih mengalami kenaikan sebesar 9.787% sepanjang tahun 2022 (YTD). Tercatat sampai penutupan perdagangan 25 April 2022 IHSG. Hal tersebut berarti dari 1 Januari 2022 sampai 25 April 2022 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 9.787%.
Annualized
Annualized merupakan prediksi di masa depan dengan yang sudah ada. Data tipe ini dapat kita temukan bila menggunakan aplikasi RTI Business sebagai alat bantu.
Pada gambar di bawah EPS ASII tertulis 484. Apabila kita hitung EPS Kuartal 1 adalah 129 dan EPS Kuartal 2 hanya 113. Jika kita kembali jumlahkan maka hasilnya hanya 242, lalu darimana hasil angka 484?
Yuk, mari kita mulai berhitung:
- EPS Kuartal 1 = 129
- EPS Kuartal 2 = 113
- Maka, EPS Annualized yaitu {129 + 113} x 2 = 484
Kenapa harus mengkalikan dengan 2? Karena EPS Kuartal 1 dan EPS Kuartal 2 hanya menunjukkan data 6 bulan saja. Sedangkan untuk mendapatkan data setahun harus dikalikan dengan 2.
Lalu, bagaimana pada Kuartal 3? Kita harus kalikan berapa?
Catatan:
- Angka 12 merupakan jumlah bulan dalam 1 tahun
- Angka 9 berasal dari Kuartal yakni bila terhitung jumlah bulannya terdapat 9 bulan
Sekarang kita sudah memahami terkait TTM, YTD, dan Annualized serta penerapannya.
