Di era sekarang ini semakin banyak perusahaan yang mulai sadar akan pentingnya aspek selain ekonomi (profitabilitas) yaitu sosial dan lingkungan. Seperti yang tercantum dalam konsep triple bottom line. Apakah hal ini bisa jadi bahan pertimbangan masyarakat kedepannya untuk berinvestasi ? Yuk simak bareng-bareng !
Maraknya perkembangan dunia investasi saat ini, tentu akan memunculkan banyak investor dan manajer investasi yang baru, terutama saham. Para investor berbondong-bondong menginvestasikan uang mereka ke perusahaan yang memiliki kinerja finansial yang bagus dan berpotensi memberikan dividen yang tinggi.
Tapi, bagi sebagian investor dan manajer investasi, pertimbangan dari aspek finansial saja tidaklah cukup untuk menilai apakah perusahaan ini berkualitas baik atau tidak. Namun, perlu juga pertimbangan aspek sosial, tata kelola, lingkungan, dan aspek keberlanjutan dalam menilai kualitas suatu perusahaan.
Indeks Sri-Kehati
Untuk kamu yang sudah lama berkecimpung di dunia saham, tentu sudah tidak asing dengan istilah SRI-KEHATI. Istilah ini merujuk kepada indeks hijau bernama Indeks Saham Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI)-KEHATI yang Yayasan KEHATI luncurkan pada tanggal 8 Juni 2009 (KEHATI, 2021).
Di pasar modal Indonesia saat ini, Indeks SRI-KEHATI sudah menjadi satu-satunya referensi prinsip investasi yang mengedepankan isu Environmental, Social and Good Governance (ESG) (KEHATI, 2021). Manfaat dari adanya indeks ini, para investor dan manajer investasi akan melakukan penilaian dan memberikan nilai lebih terhadap perusahaan-perusahaan yang memiliki kinerja baik dari segi finansial, sosial, dan juga lingkungan.
Tujuan Indeks Sri-Kehati
Berikut merupakan beberapa tujuan dari pembentukan indeks Sri-Kehati :
- Mendukung perusahaan-perusahaan untuk memenuhi aspek berkelanjutan bagi para emiten di pasar modal.
- Investor dan manajer investasi dapat menggunakan indeks ini sebagai tolak ukur dalam bidang investasi pasar saham jangka menengah maupun jangka panjang. Proses penyeleksian emiten yang ketat diharapkan mampu menjadi benchmark.
- Menjadi dasar instrumen investasi di pasar modal (CRMS, 2021).
Mekanisme Pemilihan Emiten Indeks Sri-Kehati
Terdapat mekanisme pemilihan khusus bagi perusahaan untuk bisa masuk menjadi emiten Indeks SRI-KEHATI. Mekanisme pertama adalah seleksi negatif. KEHATI akan melakukan seleksi negatif terhadap perusahaan bahwa perusahaan tidak melibatkan/menggunakan pestisida, nuklir, senjata, tembakau, alkohol, pornografi, perjudian, dan Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) dalam seluruh pengoperasian perusahaan (CRMS, 2021).
Mekanisme kedua adalah meninjau aspek keuangan. Perusahaan harus memiliki Market Capitalism dan aset masing-masing di atas Rp1 triliun berdasarkan laporan keuangan teraudit tahun terakhir. Kemudian perusahaan harus memiliki Free Float Ratio diatas 10% berdasarkan saham aktif di bursa dengan kepemilikan publik. Terakhir adalah perusahaan harus memiliki Price Earning Ratio (PER) yang positif dalam 6 (enam) bulan terakhir (CRMS, 2021).
Mekanisme pemilihan yang terakhir adalah menilai aspek fundamental (CRMS, 2021). Disini perusahaan akan dinilai dari segi tata kelola perusahaan, lingkungan, keterlibatan masyarakat, perilaku bisnis, sumber daya manusia, dan hak asasi manusia. Per tahun 2021, terdapat 25 saham emiten yang sudah terdaftar sebagai anggota dari SRI-KEHATI. Beberapa contohnya adalah saham Astra International Tbk., Bank Central Asia Tbk., Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk., Kalbe Farma Tbk., Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk., dan Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk.
Perkembangannya Gimana?
Direktur Pengembangan Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) menyebutkan bahwa saat ini para investor di Indonesia lebih menyukai berinvestasi di perusahaan-perusahaan yang sudah menetapkan prinsip Environmental Social Governance (ESG). Hal ini karena perusahaan-perusahaan tersebut mampu memberi kepercayaan lebih bagi investor.
Melihat tingginya animo dan permintaan masyarakat akan produk investasi berbasis ESG, pada tanggal 20 Desember 2021 lalu, BEI bersama Yayasan Keanekaragaman Hayati (KEHATI) meluncurkan dua indeks baru yang dinamakan ESG Sector Leaders IDX KEHATI dan ESG Quality 45 IDX KEHATI.
Harapannya dengan adanya Indeks SRI-KEHATI di Bursa Efek Indonesia adalah indeks ini dapat mendorong para pengusaha. Tujuannya untuk membangun perusahaan mereka untuk juga mementingkan aspek keberlanjutan dalam pengambilan keputusan perusahaan. Dengan begitu, lambat laun perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia tidak hanya sukses pada aspek finansial saja. Namun sukses juga dalam aspek sosial dan lingkungannya.
