Tahukah kamu bahwa sektor saham di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) memiliki beragam sektor saham? Apa sih tujuan dan sektornya serta cotoh perusahaan di setiap sektor tersebut? Yuk, mari kita bahas.

Hadirnya klasifikasi sektor-sektor saham bertujuan untuk memudahkan pasar saham dalam mengidentifikasi kinerja perusahaan atau emiten sesuai dengan kelompok atau jenis usahanya. Selain itu, Investor akan lebih tepat dalam membandingkan kinerja satu emiten dengan yang lainnya di kelompok usaha yang lebih sesuai.

Per tanggal 25 Januari 2021, Bursa Efek Indonesia telah mengimplementasikan klasifikasi baru atas sektor dan industri perusahaan tercatat yang bernama Indonesia Stock Exchange Industrial Classification (IDX-IC).  Jadi, terdapat 12 sektor saham yang telah diklasifikasikan. Berikut ini daftar saham per sektor:

Sektor Energi

Sektor ini termasuk perusahaan yang menjual produk dan jasa terkait dengan ekstraksi energi meliputi energi tidak terbarukan. Yakni pertambangan minyak bumi, gas alam, batu bara serta perusahaan-perusahaan yang menyediakan jasa untuk mendukung industri tersebut.

Contoh Perusahaan: Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), dan lain sebagainya.

Sektor Bahan Baku

Sektor ini termasuk perusahaan yang menjual produk dan jasanya di gunakan oleh industri lain. Sebagai bahan baku untuk memproduksi barang akhir yang sudah jadi seperti barang kimia, material konstruksi, produk kayu dan kertas.

Contoh Perusahaan: Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), Aneka Gas Industri Tbk(AGII), Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF), Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO), dan lain sebagainya.

Sektor Perindustrian

Sektor industri ini termasuk perusahaan yang menjual produk dan jasa secara umum di konsumsi oleh industri bukan secara langsung oleh konsumen. Produk dan jasa yang di hasilkan merupakan hasil akhir dan bukan produk bahan baku yang harus di olah kembali. Tentunya meliputi produsen barang kedirgantaraan, pertahanan, produk bangunan serta lain sebaginya.

Contoh Perusahaan: Astra International Tbk (ASII), Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR), Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (HEXA), United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), dan lain sebagainya.

Sektor Konsumsi Primer

Sektor konsumsi primer atau sektor consumer non-cyclicals termasuk perusahaan melakukan produksi atau distribusi produk dan jasa yang dijual pada konsumen. Tetapi untuk barang yang sifatnya mendasar sehingga tidak di pengaruhi oleh pertumbuhan ekonomi. Misalnya: perusahaan ritel barang primer, toko makanan, toko obat-obatan dan lain sebagainya.

Contoh Perusahaan: Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO), Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), dan lain sebagainya.

Sektor Konsumsi Non-Primer

Sektor konsumsi non-primer atau sektor consumer cyclicals termasuk perusahaan melakukan produksi atau distribusi produk dan jasa yang dijual kepada konsumen. Tetapi untuk barang yang sifatnya sekunder. Industri ini mencakup seperti perusahaan yang memproduksi mobil penumpang dan komponennya, sepatu, pakaian, barang olahraga dan sebagainya.

Contoh Perusahaan: Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), MD Pictures Tbk (FILM), Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF), dan lain sebagainya.
