Jadi, Manager investasi pasti pegang uang yang sangat banyak bukan? Dana $10 miliar nggak akan diinvestasikan di perusahaan yang kapitalisasi pasarnya $10 juta. Terlalu riskan. Bermain aman lebih banyak dilakukan. Daripada kehilangan pekerjaan sama kehilangan uang klien bukan?
2. Presentasi Menghabiskan Waktu Manajer Investasi
Faktanya, Manager Investasi menghabiskan waktunya untuk menjelaskan kenapa dia berinvestasi di saham A ke stakeholder sebanyak 25% dari total waktu yang ada. Jadi kalau kerja misal 10 jam, maka 2,5 jamnya untuk presentasi. Padahal saham bergerak sangat cepat loh. Kalau kita bisa lebih fleksibel mengatur waktu yang ada.
3. Namanya Juga Dibayar, Modal Uang Ya Ditentukan Dari Klien
Ternyata, Banyak klien yang cenderung menarik uangnya saat pasar lagi jelek, terus memasukkan uang yang besar ketika pasar sedang bagus. Padahal hal ini membuat keuntungan jadi lebih sedikit. Manager investasi jadi punya banyak uang saat semua sedang mahal, dan sedikit uang ketika semuanya murah. Dilema :’)
