Terpilihnya Indonesia menjadi tuan rumah tak bisa di pungkiri berdampak positif pada ekonomi negara. Prediksi menyebut Indonesia mampu menarik potensi devisa mencapai US$34 Juta (Rp521 Miliar) melalui berbagai rangkaian acara yang di gelar.
Tanggung jawab ini, juga meningkatkan pengakuan dunia atas kemampuan Indonesia mengelola rivalitas geopolitik. Tentunya untuk menjaga stabilitas perdamaian kawasan ASEAN sebagai ekonomi terbesar ke-5 di dunia dengan nilai US$3,3 Triliun.

Dalam pidatonya, Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan terdapat 93 proyek kerja sama senilai US$38,2 Miliar (±Rp586 Triliun). Kemudian juga 73 proyek potensial senilai US$17,8 Miliar (±Rp273 Triliun).
Kerja sama berfokus pada sektor seperti renewable energy dan infrastruktur serta melibatkan banyak perusahaan BUMN. Di antaranya Pertamina, PLN, Bank Mandiri, BNI, MIND, Telkom, hingga perbankan internasional Standar Chartered dan perusahaan teknologi asal Jerman, Siemens.

Integrasi berbagai perusahaan di ASEAN terus di dorong untuk berkolaborasi khususnya dalam hal investasi. Salah satu agenda KTT ASEAN adalah di adakannya Busines Matching (penjajakan bisnis) yang melibatkan lebih dari 129 perusahaan dengan potensi nilai kerja sama mencapai US$32 Miliar (±Rp490Triliun).
Di hadiri 185 investor dari dalam dan luar negeri, Indonesia juga terus mengupayakan kerja sama proyek dari negara lainnya dengan nilai US$ 810 Juta (±Rp12,4 Triliun)

Dalam ASEAN Investment Forum Day, Deputi Bidang Pendanaan dan Investasi Otorita IKN, Agung Wicaksono, menyatakan total investasi swasta ke sektor hiburan IKN mencapai Rp20 Triliun. Tak hanya itu, 270 minat investasi juga di terimanya dari dalam maupun luar Indonesia, termasuk Malaysia dan Singapura.
Diketahui, kebutuhan pendanaan IKN menelan Rp466 Triliun yang di bagi menjadi 3 indikasi, yaitu APBN sebesar Rp90,4 T, badan usaha/swasta Rp123,2 T, dan KPBU Rp252,5 T.

Menerima mandat menjadi Keketuaan ASEAN 2023 membuka peluang sektor Parekraf Indonesia. Setelah sebelumnya event ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) mencatatakan total transaksi mencapai US$60 Juta dan KTT G20 yang menyumbang perekonomian nasional mencapai US$533 Juta, kini KTT ASEAN di perkirakan berdampak sama.
Tercatat okupansi hotel di Kawasan Senayan tembus 100% dan Menparekraf, Sandiaga Uno, juga terus berupaya menarik investasi senilai USD$6-8 Miliar dan penciptaan 4,4 Juta lapangan pekerjaan di 2024.
